Government Polytechnic Etawah
Government Polytechnic Etawah is a Institute running three years AICTE approved DIPLOMA ENGG. courses under the Directorate of Technical Education,UP.Kanpur and affilated to BOARD OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION U.P.Luknow . Institute is situated on the NH-2,AGRA BY PASS ROAD,ETAWAH.It was established in 1980 by Govt of Uttar Pradesh with one branch of DIPLOMA IN DAIRY ENGG of 30 intake capacity.In 1994 DIPLOMA IN MECHANICAL ENGG (PRODUCTION) &in 1996 DIPLOMA IN MECHANICAL ENGG (REFRIGERATION) was also introduced with 30 intake capacity each.Presently all the branches are running with intake of 60 students in each branch. Institute has 10.6 acre land and sufficient infrastructure with fully equipped labs, workshop, buildings,furnitures and one hostal for boys.One girls hostal (for 60 girls) is under construction .Institute has its residential campus also.Community Devlopment Through Polytechnic scheme is successfully running since JAN 2009 in the institute.
